R.C.I.A. (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)
Runs continually with a new series beginning each Advent. Catechumens
(not yet baptized) and Candidates for Profession of Faith (already
baptized in another Christian denomination) are instructed in
Catholic doctrine and practice to enable them to discern better
the call of God to conversion of life, and whether or not that
course is best pursued as a member of the Catholic Church. The
class topics and dates are published in the parish announcements
to enable all Catholics to update their understanding of Church
teaching. Class meets bi-monthly according to the calendar of
Catechumens and Candidates.
