Altar Server

Boys and girls in the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth grades attending either our parish school or public or private schools are invited to share in this ministry that provides for the smooth running of the parish liturgies. They lead the entrance and closing processions and assure that all those items needed for the liturgy are available at the proper time. Older teens participate as acolytes, assuming the role of server and ministering, as do the other adults who fill liturgical roles. Server’s albs are provided. Assignments work in rotation according to the availability of the children, taking into consideration their school schedules. High school servers volunteer by sign-up for one mass a month.
