- Lector
Open to high school youth and adults. By this ministry the
Word of God is proclaimed by the Baptized as
part of their office
as members of the Body of Christ, who is himself the Word Made
Flesh. Lectors are placed in rotation to proclaim the Word at
a Sunday/Saturday evening liturgy. Lectors readily exchange
assignments if unable to be present for an assigned mass. Holy
Days and special occasions are by volunteer sign-up. Lectors
should be able to read well and be at ease in public speaking.
